A. Personal Information
- Account Details: Full name, email address, and assigned volunteer role for account authentication and volunteer management.
- Profile Picture: Photo uploaded by you to personalize your volunteer profile and display on the volunteer leaderboard.
B. User-Generated Content & Task Submissions
- Task Completion Proofs: Images, videos, and written descriptions uploaded by you to verify the completion of assigned field tasks and campaign activities.
- Suggestions & Feedback: Ideas, feedback, and issue reports submitted through the app to the administrative team.
C. Device & Technical Information
- Push Notification Tokens: Expo and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device tokens required to deliver real-time news alerts, task assignments, and submission status notifications.
- Device Identifiers & App Diagnostics: Operating system version, device model, and basic performance logs to troubleshoot technical issues.
2. Device Hardware & Storage Permissions
To provide core application features, the app requests the following device permissions:

Note: We only access your camera, photo library, or microphone when you explicitly initiate a capture or upload action within the app. We do not access these features in the background.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To authenticate and manage your volunteer account.
- To assign volunteer tasks and verify submitted proof (photos, videos, notes).
- To calculate volunteer points, rankings, and display standings on the Leaderboard.
- To send critical notifications, announcements, and news feeds.
- To review suggestions and feedback to improve campaign operations.
- To maintain security and prevent unauthorized access or fraud.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We share necessary data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our platform:
- Supabase: For secure user authentication, database management, and encrypted media storage (profile photos and task proofs).
- Expo & Google Firebase (FCM): For push notification routing and delivery to your mobile device.
- Cloud Hosting Infrastructure (Vercel): For hosting our secure backend API servers.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third-party advertisers or marketers.
5. Data Retention & Security
We retain your personal data and task submission records for as long as your volunteer account is active or as necessary to fulfil campaign coordination purposes. All communications between the app and our servers are encrypted using standard HTTPS/TLS encryption.
6. Account and Data Deletion (User Rights)
You have the right to request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated personal data, including your profile information, photos, videos, and submitted records.
How to Request Account Deletion:
To request account deletion, please email us at taniyaverma0919@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" including your registered email address. We will permanently delete your account and data within 30 days.
7. Children's Privacy
Our Service is intended for volunteers and is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has registered an account, please contact us so we can delete their information.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the application after changes constitute acceptance of the updated terms.
